Gale Force Whole-Home Repaint in Raleigh, NC

Project Description

This Gale Force whole-home repaint was completed by Matrix Painting Inc. for Chris’ 3,200-square-foot home in Raleigh, NC. The 10-day project included a full exterior repaint, painting throughout much of the interior, pressure washing, and color consultation.

The exterior siding was finished in Gale Force SW 7605, with Alabaster SW 7008 on the trim and Caviar SW 6990 on the door and shutters. Sherwin-Williams Duration Exterior Acrylic Latex was used for the exterior coating system.

Inside the home, the walls were painted with Sherwin-Williams Cashmere Interior Acrylic Latex in Agreeable Gray SW 7029, Anew Gray SW 7030, and Mega Greige SW 7031. The combined exterior painting and interior painting project cost approximately $22,000 to $25,000.

Background/Story

Chris wanted to update both the inside and outside of his personal home, which he also uses as a VRBO rental property. That made the project less about changing one room or one exterior feature and more about refreshing the property as a whole.

A color consultation helped coordinate the darker blue exterior with lighter trim and a set of warm neutral interior wall colors.
